Gimba is the Director of Government and External Relations at IHS (Nigeria) Limited, where he leads strategic engagement with government and external stakeholders to advance the company’s business objectives. He also serves as the Chairman of the Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria (ALTON) Committee on Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII), where he contributes to industry-level advocacy and stakeholder engagement on the protection and development of Nigeria’s critical digital infrastructure.

He has extensive experience in stakeholder management, policy advocacy and communication, as well as sales strategy, business development, and commercial leadership. He has a proven track record of building strong relationships, driving collaborative initiatives, optimizing business processes, and leading high-performing teams.

He holds a B.Sc. in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University, a Global Executive MBA in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), and a Certificate in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School.
