Wole Abu is Managing Director for Equinix in West Africa, with responsibility for the company’s operations and growth across Nigeria, Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. He joined Equinix in November 2024 to lead the integration and expansion of its West African business and deepen engagement with local enterprises and multinational customers.

Abu has more than 20 years of experience in Nigeria’s telecommunications and digital-infrastructure industry. Before joining Equinix, he served as Chief Executive Officer for Liquid Intelligent Technologies Nigeria and Africa Data Centres Nigeria. His career spans engineering, operations, finance, legal affairs, human resources, sales and marketing, giving him a broad understanding of infrastructure businesses and their customers.
