Solomon Kofi Richardson is a senior public-sector technologist with over 16 years’ experience in IT and telecoms, focused on building Ghana’s national digital infrastructure.

He leads the Technical Services Department at NITA, the government body responsible for ICT regulation and digitalisation, where he oversees the design, deployment, and integration of shared government technology platforms.

Richardson has played a central role in Ghana’s e-government infrastructure, leading the development of national data centres, fibre optic and microwave networks, LTE (4G) government connectivity, Security Operations Centres, Public Key Infrastructure, and other shared systems.

He has supported major national digital programmes including the automation of the Ghana Revenue Authority, systems for the National Identity Authority, and e-Immigration platforms.

Currently, he focuses on integrating government systems, enabling online public services, promoting secure data sharing frameworks, and advising on the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI.

He holds a BSc in Computer Science and an MSc in Telecom Management.
