Dr. Ayobami Oladejo is a seasoned strategy and technology leader with over 23 years of cross-functional expertise spanning business development, enterprise architecture, digital strategy, sales, operations, product and portfolio management, and consulting. His career cuts across four telecom operators in three countries (including a Group-level role), a leading telco vendor, a Big 4 consulting firm, and the founding of a FinTech startup, giving him a rare 360° view of business and technology ecosystems.
At the intersection of business strategy and digital architecture, Dr. Oladejo has become a trusted advisor for designing scalable operating models that drive superior product delivery, customer experience, and executional excellence. He is known for transforming complexity into clarity – translating high-level vision into actionable, team-specific plans that deliver measurable impact.
Strategically minded and commercially grounded, he combines deep knowledge of traditional and emerging business models to help organizations thrive in fast-changing markets. A natural relationship builder and “sales ninja” with a strong solution orientation, he has earned the trust of C-level leaders across multiple countries through integrity, influence, and consistent performance.
His impactful works are done via Digipractice, his consulting company based in Johannesburg South Africa with clients in multiple countries and Adroyte, a technology company that delivers digital and fintech services. He also sits on advisory boards of startups and established brands.
Dr. Oladejo holds a PhD in Strategic Management from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (University of Pretoria) and an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch – two of Africa’s top business schools. His doctoral research focused on how incumbent firms respond to digital disruption using dynamic capabilities.
A passionate educator and team builder, he lectures MBA and postgraduate students at the University of Stellenbosch Business School and previously taught at Wits Business School. He has also contributed to curriculum development at formal institutions and a Fortune 500 company.
