Lars Johannisson is Chief Executive Officer of Rack Centre, a carrier- and cloud-neutral data-centre operator serving Nigeria and the wider West African market. He was appointed in January 2024 to lead the company’s expansion and strengthen its position within Africa’s growing cloud, connectivity and data-centre ecosystem.

Johannisson has extensive experience across telecommunications, managed services, technology delivery and digital-skills development. Over more than 14 years, he has led projects and operations across over 30 sub-Saharan African countries. His career includes more than two decades at Ericsson, as well as senior leadership roles at Teleperformance, SolarNow and YNV Group.

He holds an MBA in General Management and Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics and has completed executive education in design, innovation and business transformation at Stanford University. His work at Rack Centre focuses on operational excellence, hyperscale readiness, sustainability and expanding the infrastructure required to support Africa’s digital economy.
