Snehar Shah is Chief Executive Officer of iXAfrica Data Centre, where he leads the development of hyperscale-ready, carrier-neutral and AI-ready data-centre infrastructure in East Africa. He joined the company in 2023, bringing approximately 25 years of experience across technology, telecommunications, infrastructure, energy and education.

Shah has held leadership roles at Orange, Eaton Towers, Azuri Technologies and Moringa School. As Regional Chief Financial Officer at Eaton Towers, he contributed to scaling the tower business before its acquisition by American Tower. At Azuri Technologies, he led African operations supporting the deployment of pay-as-you-go solar systems across several markets. He subsequently served as Chief Executive Officer and Chair of Moringa School.

Shah holds a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London and qualifications in chartered accountancy and investment analysis. He has been recognised among Business Daily Africa’s Top 40 Under 40 and was named among Data Centre Magazine’s leading data-centre executives. iXAfrica profile
