Sulaiman Cisse is an investment and project-development professional with more than 15 years of experience in project finance and infrastructure development across emerging and frontier markets. He is an Associate Vice President in Project Development at Africa Finance Corporation, where he supports the structuring and development of major infrastructure and industrial projects.

His experience spans the full project-development cycle, from early-stage assessment and transaction structuring to financing and financial close. He has advised public institutions, private companies and government stakeholders on investment strategy, policy implementation and project delivery across Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe and the Pacific. He was selected for the International Institute of Finance’s Future Leaders Group, Class of 2024.
