Patrick Munis is the founder and CEO of NewWave Holdings, LLC, a portfolio of innovative IT companies redefining the relationship between technology, information, and people in healthcare. Since founding NewWave Telecom and Technologies, Inc. in 2004, he has led transformative engineering and digital modernization efforts for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Under his leadership, NewWave has incubated several ventures: iQuartic (AI-powered value-based care), Onyx Technology (health data interoperability infrastructure), and NewWave India (global engineering development). Patrick brings a unique perspective as a former federal contractor and health IT executive, committed to advancing secure, interoperable, and human-centered solutions.

He serves on key advisory bodies, including the MEEHIP Advisory Workgroup and the Onyx Health Advisory Board, and has received multiple honors including the EY Entrepreneur of the Year (2016), FedHealthIT Innovation Award (2021), and ACT-IAC’s Innovation in Healthcare Award.
